Virtual Meeting with Council Of India Societies of Edmonton (June 03, 2021)

Consul General Mr. Manish held a virtual meeting on 03 June, 2021 with Ms. Gunjan Sharma and  other Board Members of Council Of India Societies of Edmonton. Consul General briefed them on the present COVID-19 situation in India and steps being taken by Government of India to deal with the situation. On the query  raised by them on Consular matters and the process of donations to India, CG briefed them of the new changes in the Consular Services, including OCI, as well as the process of sending donations to India.  The discussion also focused on partnering with CISE on celebrating #IndiaAt75 to commemorate #AzadiKaAmritMahatosav. CISE welcomed the proposal of the Consulate to celebrate India@75.
