IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR INDIAN STUDENTS STUDYING IN CANADA 

In July 2016,  Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, launched a Student Registration Module on MADAD to build a database of Indian students pursuing courses in foreign colleges and universities. 

The registration would enable the Indian Government to frame plans/policies beneficial to the students; help the Indian Missions/Posts to reach out to the them/their families in cases of need/emergencies and also help in liaising better with the foreign universities/colleges. 

As of today, 11,100 students have registered in the portal  http://www.madad.gov.in/AppConsular/welcomeLink.  

Indian Students who have not yet registered are requested to register themselves on MADAD and also spread the word.  For more details, pls. visit http://www.madad.gov.in/AppConsular/images/student-registration-at-madad.pdf .
