Consulate General of India, Vancouver heartily welcomes High Commissioner-designate H.E. Sanjay Kumar Verma and Madam Gunjan Verma to Ottawa. They were received at Ottawa Airport by the Chief of Protocol Stewart Wheeler and Acting High Commissioner Mr. Manish. High Commissioner-designate HE Sanjay Kumar Verma met Chief of Protocol Stewart Wheeler earlier on November 3, 2022 and handed him a copy of the letter of credentials.

 

As part of Government of India’s #SpecialCampaign2, the Consulate General of India in Vancouver undertook Special Swachhata Campaign from 02-31 October, focusing on space management and beautification of the Consulate premises.

 

Consulate General of India in Vancouver celebrated the Unity Day on October 31, 2022 by administering Ekta Diwas Pledge to all officials, organizing an Exhibition on the life and contribution of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and making an Ekta Shrinkhala (Unity Chain) at the Consulate. Consul Shri Manjish Grover highlighted on the life and contribution of Sardar Patel.

 

As part of Unity Week activities, the Consulate General of India in Vancouver, in association with the Gujarati Society of BC and V4U Entertainment, organized an Exhibition on life and contribution of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 29 October in Surrey. Consul Shri Manjish Grover briefed the audience about the Unity week activities and life and contribution of Sardar Patel. The Exhibition was well received by the guests at the event.

Practised on zinc and copper, and inlaid with pure silver or thin sheets, it is a delicate art and remarkably intricate.
