Consul General Manish visited Whitehorse, Yukon on his first official visit. During the visit Consul General called on the Premier of the Territory Hon. Sandy Silver, Commissioner of Yukon, Hon. Angélique Bernard, Minister of Economic Development & Tourism, Hon. Ranj Pillai and also met Minister of Transportation, Chief of Protocol and Director of Immigration. During the interaction with leaders and officials, Consul General had wide ranging discussions on improving bilateral relations between India and Yukon.

Consul General Manish during his visit to Whitehorse visited Yukon University on September 7, 2022 and met with President and Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Lesley Brown and other officials. Yukon University has the largest international students from India. Discussion focused on possible cooperation with Indian institutions for student and faculty exchange; dual degree program; possible cooperation in
Research & Development especially in areas like climate change .

During the visit of Consul General Manish  on September 8, 2022 to Whitehorse bilateral cooperation in trade, tourism, economic cooperation and investment issues were high on agenda. CG had a wide ranging discussions at Chamber of First Nation where members of First Nation Chamber, Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce and Chamber of Mines and government officials were present.

National Infrastructure Pipeline

The National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) for FY 2019-25 is a first-of-its-kind, whole-of-government exercise to provide world-class infrastructure to citizens and improving their quality of life. It aims to improve project preparation and attract investments into infrastructure.
